The Remedials Are Complicated

Hey kids! The Remedials really haven't done a lot this year, let's face it they haven't done anything at all! This is exactly why they were on vacation! But that hasn't stopped them from appearing on not one but possibly TWO Compilation CDs! How the hell did that happen?! Well here's how…

First up is Mansion Records Mansion Mixer Vol.1 an independent record label compilation CD started by our punk bros. the POGs! The Remedials will have TWO songs on this compilation CD "Close Enough For A Punk Rock Band" and "Idiot"! Other bands on the CD include: the POGs, Denderah, Doomestvan, Michael Maxwell and Vagrants On Parade! Mansion Records Mansion Mixer Vol.1 is only $5 CDN plus $3 Shipping and Handling and is available thru these sites: http://www.mansion-records.com and/or http://www.myspace.com/mansionrec or you can e-mail them at: mr@mansion-records.com or you can grab one when you're at a POGs show before they sellout! The Remedials are all happy as hell to have a couple of their songs on this CD and to help support the label and comp. CD of their punk bros. Next the gang at Vancouver's Punk as Fu_k (VPAF) will include The Remedials in the next VPAF compilation CD appropriately entitled Vol.2! The Remedials song to be included on this CD is "Close Enough For A Punk Rock Band". Why was this song chosen? Well according to Cam of VPAF "Cuz it rocks and it's short. Seems to be in short supply this time around." That's why and we couldn't agree more! Some of the other bands to be included on the CD are: Bison b.c., The Jolts, Bound By None, Boxfiller, Creeping Hand, Isotopes, the POGs and Cobweb Society! Holy Crap! It may end up being a double CD! As you are all aware The Remedials song "The Binge Tour" was on VPAF compilation CD Vol.1 and you know this because you have two copies of the CD and listen to it everyday. Since the success of the first CD, which and got some press, had multiple pressings, a Benefits Show, a CD Release Show (which The Remedials played) and the CD available at some cool shops in Vancouver! The Remedials are honored to be included in the next VPAF CD and to support the cause. So that's all we got so far as Remedial updates go we're all stoked for both the new VPAF CD Vol.2 and Mansion Records Mansion Mixer Vol.1 (and so should you)! So pick these up when you get a chance and do your part to support and promote Vancouver's phenomenal punk community! Which I guess The Remedials are now a part of too…
